How to make a good picture in TRS

Well, why do you need this tutorial? First of all TRS 2006 has a lot of displays and if you want to make a picture you will end up with the train heading direction or the markers from the track or even with the surveyor panel. So watch the pictures and the explanation to find out how you can make a good picture without other interferences.

First you select Surveyor Menu and go to Surveyor Options.

Now that you selected the Surveyor Options menu you will get a new window, where you have to make contextual information on.

Then you will need to click the green check button to save the options.

This will result in displaying only the information you need, when a certain tab is selected. Here are some examples:

But if you want to get rid of the tabs in the right you must get into walking or flying modes. So, to get in walking mode you just need to press ALT+Y and for the flying mode you need to press ALT+U. When you want to exit these modes you have to press escape. These are the best ways to make good pictures in TRS although they work only in surveyor.

Now, all this above, work only in surveyor. If you want to make a picture in driver, because here you can turn on the lights of a train or you want to raise the pantograph, you will need to do the following things. First the screen looks like this:

You must go in the above left corner to select the last button from left to right, the on screen help button. Once you clicked it the arrows above the levers will disappear.

All you need to do now is to press F5 and you will see only what you want. The HUD will disappear and you can make a very good picture without other interferes.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.
